Just popping in to confirm yes, we are going to The Fall today/tomorrow. Since it takes a while to get there, we're going to head out after lunch today and find a hotel or something to crash at until morning. I can't say I'm particularly excited about this trip, but hey, Leo knows his way around The Fall and I trust him! Plus, what's the point of being an adventurer if you don't get out of your comfort zone sometimes?
Regardless...
The Fall is... unnerving. It's a gorge, I think. It's a beautiful grove of trees, some of the greenest leaves in the whole area, but suddenly the ground just drops away into this chasm of fog and blackness, and even in the middle of the day everything is so dark. The gorge is about 30-odd feet wide I believe, so there's no hope for anything to jump across. There's probably a bridge, since our friend has crossed it before, but who really knows how he does anything? Anyway, the beautiful view combined with the creepy-tastic gorge is just... I don't know, strange. I don't like it. I... I don't like it at all.
But oh well, Leo will protect me. I just really hope it's just us, since... you-know-who is equally unnerving and
hold on. I think Leo is home, I heart footste
